~This is IT~
After enduring 14 weeks of lots and lots and heaps and heaps of assignments, case studies, interviews, reports and presentations....
FINALLY, the last battle for this semester begins:
Finals from 9th Nov till 20th Nov 2009.
Six papers.. GAHHHhhhh...
after this, it's gonna be a 1+ month break which i'm realllyy gonna look forward to...
Why?
Cuz it's back to having a social life and more things to blog about..
Yes folks, i know, stop grumbling and whining, i know i know... it's been yonks..
Anyway, back to studying...

~Dining at Hyatt Regency~
Thanks to my wonderful big Bro, Alvin..today, mom and I had the priviledge to dine at Hyatt Regency's Mosaic Restaurant. Though the sky looked threatening with it's gloomy weather, but still we had an awesome time.

Mosaic's Interior Layout Design
Although it's narrow and echo-ish due to the limitation of space, it is still a cozy place to chill.
The order:
Mom : Stone Cooking Style (Salmon) set with two choices of sauces (black pepper/mushroom) which includes salad (balsamic dressing) and fried potatoes.
Alvin: Same order as mom only his was a variety of a piece of beef, chicken and salmon respectively.
Mine: Mosaic's Set Lunch - french onion soup, fish & chips.
Dessert: Ice cream
Our Appetizer

Main course (L-R): My fish and chips, big bro's mix set, and mom's salmon set
Dessert (L-R): Dragon fruit flavor, coffee flavor
The appetizers were nice, not too heavy. As for the main dishes, oh my.. mom and bro were practically sweating cooking their own lunch. hahaha.. Lunch on a slab of HOT stone. I would suggest you inform the waiter/waitress to spread a lil butter on the stone before putting the rosemary and then only start cooking your meal (if ever you wanna try it), although it's not gonna be healthy with the butter..but hey, that's just opinion. hahaha.. This dish is a moderate (not too heavy, not too light) dish as i'm sure you would still have room for dessert.
Mosaic's ice creams tastes different from the usual hotel standards as they are home made. Not only are the ice creams home made but so are the waffle cones. I would recommend any of you to try it.
The flavors ranges from coffee, green tea, blueberry, coconut, mango, vanilla, cinammon, raspberry/strawberry, dragon fruit, and peppermint.
Oh yes, the waitress was so kind she gave us an additional scoop of ice cream for free.. (cinnamon + raisin).. YUMMY!
Total Bill for today: RM122 after a 25% discount on the total food bill.
Such a lovely day, yummy lunch + rainy evening =

Lame REASON!!!
On a supposedly great evening drive to uni yesterday, at approximately 6.50pm, making a 3'o clock turn at the Likas roundabout on the inner lane.....i least expected a SLK (small lil Kancil) opting to make a 6 o'clock turn from the outer lane... moreover with a last minute signal...
The scary bit was me trying to avoid the Kancil from hitting the middle of my 4WD in which i succeeded, but the next was the scariest part in my 25 years of living apart from the time when i was afraid to lose my dad so soon.. i thought my life would have ended with an accident, dang..what a way to go... i want a painless death in future lah.. but anyway, there was a rerun of thoughts of the car overturning and me, trapped in it.. unsure if i'd make it since there were lots of oncoming cars.. *sigh*
Anyway, made it to the nearest petrol kiosk and while i was checking out my car, guess what... the SLK owner's yelling from one part of the kiosk towards my direction, "HOI, dunno how to drive ah, then dun drive such a damn big car la!" Wow, can you imagine, he tailed me all the way to the kiosk and how un-gentleman can he be, shouting to a woman in public?!!
tsk tsk.. i feel sorry for his wife and kid to have a husband/father who is such an irresponsible, unreasonable, childish, not gentleman and to add up to all yuckiness of him, a reckless driver!
Geez, to cut the story short, he insisted he had the right of way and i was at fault. when i explained how wrong he was, he brushed me off and instead told me to compensate his family for causing "emotional distress" to his 2 yr old kid who was crying like as if the incident had taken away her whole family from her! How much? RM500... Absurd, isn't it??? To shut him and the wifey up, i demanded for five times more on reasons:
1) car alignment
2) emotional distress and traumatizing effects
3) making me late for class
4) wasting my money for knowledge and time loss
5) potential gastritis since i could have had my take away dinner at McD without the delay..
HmpH, beat that JackASS!
Guess it shows that time is really bad until people such as this jackass can resort to trying to make quick cash out of an incident like mine. Damn
Did i pay? HECK NO! why should i pay even a quarter of a cent for such a stupid lame unreasonable reason. Even the petrol kiosk attendant was on my side. oh yeah!
Thank you to friends who have been such an encouragement and making sure i'm alright... i assure you, i am fine, i'm just pissed with that silly ordeal and that crappy BIG BULLY...

Apologies for the delay in updates..
Firstly, i have tons to blog about.. but there's no time to do so..
No thanks to all the assignments this semester..
6 subjects are a killer..
I sorta regret trying to be a hero.. but then again, it's one way of completing the course quickly..
Hope i don't end up as a zero though..
Anyway, i'll try my best to update by next week..
Don't hold me to my word on this one as lecturers can be quite a spoilsport with sudden case studies and mini assignments...
I've gotta blog about July, August, and Sept..
Three months...oh gee... Lord, give me more strength to endure the trials up ahead of me..
till then, have an awesome upcoming weekend..
i'll be stuck with accounts' mid term exam on a SUNDAY night...
